Hello and welcome to my practice!
I understand that when we’re not feeling our best, it can affect many areas of our lives. In today’s world, finding balance between physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being is more important than ever. My approach to therapy focuses on whole-person healing, combining practical tools and cognitive behavioral techniques to help you achieve your goals.
I strive to create a nurturing and supportive space, one that I would want for myself. Here, you’ll find a safe, calming environment where you can explore your emotions and thoughts openly. I offer services in both English and Spanish.
Before our initial session, we’ll have a brief phone consultation to discuss your needs and therapy expectations. In our first session, we’ll complete an evaluation, set therapeutic goals, and begin working towards them together. My approach is eclectic, multidimensional, and evidence-based, tailored specifically to your unique needs.
I look forward to working with you and supporting you on your journey to well-being.
Background:
I am a bilingual (English & Spanish) psychotherapist in Florida, specializing in life/health adjustments, depression, and anxiety.
I earned my master’s degree in clinical social work and trauma-informed care from Barry University. My clinical rotations were at Regis House, Inc. and the University of Miami-Miller School of Medicine. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Parent-Child Attachment models. I have experience serving individuals in various settings, including community and hospital environments. Additionally, I specialize in working with individuals with neurodevelopmental exceptionalities and hearing loss.
To enhance my work with special needs populations, I completed the University of Miami's LEND program fellowship and the Emerging Transformational Leadership Program, both focused on community leadership and improving access to care for all individuals.
